Michael's Family Page

Hello my name is Michael Anderson. I am fourteen years old and live with my parents in Brooksville, Florida U.S.A. Here on my family page I have tried to tell something about my family. I have many links on these pages to pictures and to Internet sites that have to do with my family myself. I have tried to make all links either a picture or written in red to make them easy to spot. Thanks for dropping by, please make yourself at home, and enjoy my Internet home.

I like to ride my bike, and do all types of exercise, and sports, with golf, tennis and basketball being my favorite team sports right now. My family also plays miniature golf whenever we can. Once in a while we go bowling, which I really love. I have played organized baseball, soccer, football and made my middle school basketball and tennis teams.

I love TRAINS! I have been able to ride on many trains throughout this country. With my family I have been on Steam Engines and Diesels. Our family has taken rides in Arizona, North Carolina, Texas, Wyoming, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, and Indiana. We have both HO and N gauge trains at home to play with.

Click here to see a photo of our family on a train ride in North Carolina during the summer of 1998.

As you can see by what I wrote about train rides my family travels a lot and I have been in 38 States so far. My goal is to get to all 50. We travel a lot in the summer, as school keeps us from going to far the rest of the year. I was also lucky enough to travel to Canada and stay in a hotel overlooking Niagara Falls. We had a great time up there.

I love my computer! I can be found on mine whenever my parents allow. I love the Internet and even though I have a modem, mom and dad only let me go on line with one of them. Dad lets me check for e-mail every day, so if you write me I will write you back. I love computer games, especially Pro Football Challenge. I also play on my Play station IIand love the race games, including my Star Wars game.

I have many favorite TV shows, Number one right now is Who’s Line is it Anyway with Monk a close second. Everyone Loves Raymond, Two and a Half Men and all PBS British Humor shows and of course most anything on the Disney channel rounds out my favorites.

My favorite food is Pizza. Pizza can be eaten in front of both the computer and the TV, or even when we are at a sporting event.

My Dad and I build and shoot model rockets, and it's fun. We had to start going to the soccer field to shot them off however as my dad kept getting them caught in our big Oak trees. We have made a gas-powered plane, which we can fly along with the rockets too. Our latest is little motorized plans that get a charge from a battery pack and you let them go. They fly very well are easy to move around and a lot of fun.

My nephews in Texas are into sports also. Timmy has placed in the Texas State Tae Kwon Do Tournament. This enabled him to compete in the Nationals in Kentucky in 1997. Timmy plays baseball and football also. His brother Tyler is in Tae Kwon Do but specializes in baseball. My youngest nephew is in Texas, and his name is Brayden James Anderson and he is already showing he will be in sports soon.

I have five nieces. Three live here in Florida, Kaycee , Brianne, and Amber. Tierney and Cadence my two nieces that live in Texas with their brothers who are mentioned above. By clicking on Kaycee's name in red, you can see a picture of her on her mom's horse Easter. Easter has been in our family for over twenty years now. By clicking on Brianne and Amber in red above you will link to a picture of Kaycee, Brianne and Amber.

My sister Cindy Works for the Citrus Chronicle and we all very proud of her. By clicking here you will be sent to a picture of my sister Cindy with her daughter Kaycee.

My brother Bill, lives near Dallas Texas and works for Texas Instruments, where he is an engineer who works very hard. I wish we all lived closer so we could be together more. I really like playing with Timmy, Tyler and Tierney. As they are near my age. The two younger kids are fun too and I like to have the responsibility of taking care of them. The summers of 1999 and 2000 found us at several of Timmy and Tyler's baseball games in Texas. Timmy, Tyler and Tierney all spent over a week with us here in Florida. We even got to all go to Disney World together. The best family thing that year however was a birthday party for Kaycee and myself as we were all together for it. It was the first time we all got to be at one of our parties together, it was GREAT!

We have spent the last five 4th of July’s at Bills in Texas and we have had  wonderful weeks out there. We also have had great fireworks we got to set off ourselves. Bill even let’s me drive his go-kart and that is a super blast.

My Grandfather on my mom's side lives on Long Island, in New York State. Because he lives so far away, we hardly ever get to see him and my Step Grandmother. They were able to come to Florida for a visit in January of 2001 and we had a great time. Grandpa and I build a motor together and they were able to come to one of my soccer games too. We keep trying to get all the way up to New York, but with our busy schedule and the high cost of travel it is very hard to do. Grandpa says he does not like to e-mail, but he has e-mailed me before and I wish he would e-mail me some more. I can't wait to see you again Grandpa.

My Grandma on my moms side passed away a short time ago and I miss her a lot.

My Dad's parents have both passed away, I never new my Grandpa on that side, but I sure miss my Grandmother, and she was the best in the whole world!

We are a very close family, and try to get together as often as we can. I will add other family member's pictures to my page as I get the chance. My dad also has pictures on our family page, which can be reached right here by clicking on the words in red.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my family page. I hope you are glad you visited my Cyber Home. Remember to get back to my home page just click on the Michael's Homepage logo at the top of this page. If you would like to write me about anything, you can e-mail me through the link below. As you can tell I love to do many things, and I'm always open to suggestions on how dad and I can make my page better.
